Job summary

North Shore Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Operations Specialist Gas to support its Mundelein, IL or Waukegan, IL offices. The role involves monitoring compliance workloads, analyzing data, creating work orders, and providing daily support to field staff.

You will coordinate calls, permits, data entry, and administrative tasks while collaborating with supervisors to ensure adequate scheduling and efficient field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
• 5+ years Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• 5+ years Identifying and implementing solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule field crews for operations, initiation and receipt of both customer and field employee calls, calling in JULIE locates, and creating work order packets.
• Support data entry, system updating (SharePoint), creation of permit requests, and other administrative tasks.
• Data collection from field activities, updating company systems, interfacing with field employees and contractors.
• Collaborates with employees and supervisors to ensure the operational schedule has adequate coverage.
• Works across the company to meet internal and external customer needs for field operations.
• Performs various tasks and assists shop management on multiple assignments.
