Xcel Energy, a leading electric and natural gas utility, seeks an experienced operations supervisor in Colorado to lead a high-performing crew under a hybrid model. The role focuses on safe, reliable operations, data-informed decisions, and strong stakeholder engagement across teams.

Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years in utility operations, asset management experience, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while coordinating with unions and management to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in design, construction, operations, engineering or maintenance of utility systems.
• Knowledge of standards, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Operational knowledge of work and asset management and analytics.
• Effective change leadership and stakeholder communication.
• Proven results in achieving performance metrics and process adherence.
• Experience working with bargaining unit employees.
• Completion of an approved apprentice program in related craft.
• Understanding of utility finance.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and/or be on call.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and drive real time safety accountability.
• Evaluate team performance and ensure process adherence.
• Maintain crew productivity and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Recruit and develop talent, coach and manage performance.
• Build internal and external relationships to support operations.
