Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. in the United States is seeking a Gas Measurement Technician to support field operations across transmission and distribution systems. You will perform measurement, calibration, and maintenance tasks, working outdoors in all weather to ensure accurate gas delivery and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least four years of gas measurement or related field experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years gas measurement, construction and maintenance or service field experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains measurement facilities and systems.
• Assists with meters (diaphragm, turbine, rotary, orifice, ultrasonic, coriolis).
• Supports RTU and SCADA equipment functions.
• Maintains communication circuits and equipment.
• Coordinates with third parties for measurement tests and accuracy.
• Inspects and calibrates meters and gas quality equipment.
