Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), parent company of Liberty, is seeking a field technician to support gas utility operations across North America. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork while performing line maintenance and emergency response duties.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid CDL, and Operator Qualifications. You will work outdoors in varying weather and may lift heavy loads as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CDLs.
• Requires Operator Qualifications (OQs) and related training for the role.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy/specialized equipment and ladders/roofs.

Responsibilities

• Perform leak investigations and locate underground gas lines.
• Install and maintain natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• Operate heavy and/or specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review job site maps and ensure proper utility markings.
