Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a field position focused on basic, routine gas-line work with prescribed procedures. You will assist in installing and maintaining meters, regulators, and lines, and contribute to leakage surveys. You will also ensure accurate records and safety compliance across duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and OQ training. You may work outdoors in varied weather and on different shifts, including travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Requires GED or high school diploma.
• Must obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQ) and related training.
• Ability to use company intranet for data entry and reference tasks.
• Must communicate with internal/external customers to provide information.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic, routine work using clearly prescribed procedures and seek guidance for deviations.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• May assist in leakage surveys.
• Complete and maintain records to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
• May be on stand-by, work shifts, holidays, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Operate and inspect company vehicles and equipment safely.
