Technical Safety Services (TSS) seeks a Sustaining Technician I to keep Gas Life Safety Systems operating safely in semiconductor facilities. This onsite role in the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and responding to issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the broader team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet the physical and environmental requirements of the role.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on Gas Life Safety Systems according to company and manufacturer procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults and alarms.
• Test GLSS devices and verify system functionality.
• Perform sensor changeouts, device calibrations, and functional testing.
• Maintain accurate inventory and service records.
• Support live system testing and permit inspections.
• Respond to building alarms and evacuations as needed.
• Provide supporting system data to ERT and EHS teams.
• Maintain required onsite and TSS training and compliance.
