Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with substantial experience in maintenance/repair of a natural gas system.

Responsibilities

• Survey, monitor, and classify leaks in the gas distribution system and report findings to the utility and inspectors.
• Prepare, process, and maintain records and reports as required by policies and mandates.
• Maintain a system for conducting and updating surveys.
• Determine and initiate necessary repairs, precautions, warnings and safety measures.
• Operate hand tools and equipment related to gas leak surveying; use a PC to complete essential functions.
• Inspect and maintain equipment related to gas leak surveying.
