GridHawk LLC in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Leak Survey Operator for nighttime shifts. You will perform leakage surveys on natural gas systems, classify hazard levels, and document all activities while adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations.

Candidates must pass a background check and a DOT drug test. Training will include obtaining operator qualifications within 4–6 weeks; prior industry experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Background in the Natural Gas Industry is preferred but not required.
• All employees will obtain Natural Gas Leak Survey Operator Qualifications after hiring.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Detects and classifies natural gas leaks using leak detection tools on both walking and mobile surveys.
• Performs leakage surveys on transmission and distribution systems.
• Repairs above-ground leaks when practical.
• Maintains documentation and notifications of leak survey activity.
• Adheres to OSHA, DOT, and State regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates with Leak Survey supervisor on reporting and scheduling.
