Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking personnel for midnight shift to perform natural gas leak surveys and investigations using portable and mobile detectors. You will classify leak indications by hazard level and maintain thorough documentation.

Role requires completing a background check and passing a DOT drug test. Training for Operator Qualifications lasts 4–6 weeks and OSHA/DOT regulations guide daily work.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check with no violations in the last 5 years.
• MUST pass a DOT drug test.
• Education: high school diploma or GED required.
• All hires obtain Natural Gas Leak Survey Operator Qualifications after hiring; 4–6 weeks training.

Responsibilities

• Detects and classifies natural gas leaks using surveys and leak detection tools.
• Maintains leak survey documentation and notifications.
• Repairs above ground leaks when practical.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT and state regulations.
• Documents activities and reports to the Leak Survey supervisor.
