Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in leak detection or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in leak detection, pipeline inspection, or a related role is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with leak detection equipment and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor and sometimes challenging environments.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Perform leak detection surveys using gas detectors, ultrasonic devices, and other industry-standard tools.
• Inspect pipelines, valves, and infrastructure for leaks and safety hazards.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports for maintenance teams.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements during field operations.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to address leak issues.
• Maintain and calibrate leak detection equipment for accuracy and reliability.
• Respond promptly to emergency leak calls as needed.
