Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) is a respected natural gas civil engineering and surveying firm delivering design, permitting, and survey services across the Northeast. We are expanding our team with a Gas Project Engineer to contribute to all phases of natural gas infrastructure projects.

The role involves design, engineering, permitting, and coordinating with clients and officials, with field work as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience in natural gas or utility design.
• Hands on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and other staff.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field or substantial equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects.
• Manage the design, engineering, permitting and approvals necessary for all projects.
• Perform field-based activities as necessary.
