Motus Recruiting and Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee natural gas infrastructure projects from initiation through completion in the Portland, Oregon area.

The role emphasizes project execution, contractor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and safe delivery of complex work. The position is a contract (18 months) engagement requiring travel to project sites within the service territory.

Formación

• 5+ years of project management experience within construction.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving projects to completion.
• Strong skills in construction scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contractor coordination, and resource planning.
• Ability to translate engineering deliverables into executable schedules, resource plans, and project forecasts.
• Previous experience with construction permitting processes.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-directed, execution-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Must reside in Oregon or Washington and be able to travel to project sites within the utility service territory.

Responsabilidades

• Lead small- to medium-complexity construction and gas infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and deliverables using established PMO tools.
• Coordinate internal teams, engineering resources, vendors, and contractors to maintain project progress and accountability.
• Monitor project costs, identify budget variances, and maintain accurate financial forecasts and schedules.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships, including schedules, costs, performance, and deliverables.
• Identify and track project risks, resolve execution challenges, and elevate issues when needed.
• Oversee change control and ensure accurate, complete project documentation.
• Support PMO process improvements and help other Engineering resources apply project management practices.
• Visit project sites, including Mist, Oregon, as required to support project execution.
