We Energies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks a GIS Specialist (Gas) to support Gas Operations by creating and maintaining maps of underground gas distribution facilities and ensuring public safety and system integrity.

Responsibilities include processing work orders, maintaining archives, and facilitating field communications; a background in GIS or CAD is required, with emphasis on accuracy and data entry. This role offers competitive pay within the posted range and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of GIS or CAD work experience in the past five years.
• One year of GIS or CAD work experience within the past five years plus four completed courses in GIS technology from an accredited post-secondary vocational school or college, completed within the past five years.
• Have a certificate in GIS Technology or completed equivalent coursework (six courses in GIS technology) from an accredited post-secondary vocational school or college, earned/completed within the past five years.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain maps showing underground gas distribution facilities.
• Analyze maps for accuracy to ensure public safety and system integrity.
• Administer archives for legally required documents.
• Cover all We Energies gas areas.
