We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a GIS Specialist (Gas) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role supports Gas Operations by creating and maintaining maps of underground gas facilities, ensuring accuracy for public safety and system integrity.

Responsibilities include processing construction and service orders, archiving documents, and providing field support. The ideal candidate has GIS or CAD experience, GPS data skills, and the ability to interpret drawings and communicate

Qualifications

• Two years GIS or CAD work experience in the past five years.
• Alternative: one year GIS/CAD plus four GIS courses in the past five years.
• Certificate in GIS Technology or six GIS courses within five years.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain maps of underground gas facilities for accuracy and safety.
• Analyze maps to ensure public safety and system integrity.
• Administer archive for required documents; cover all gas areas.
• Process construction, maintenance, service, and meter orders.
• Account for components; use GPS data and perform data entry.
• Interpret forms/drawings and relay issues to technicians; answer field calls.
