Job summary

AES Renewables and Power in the United States is seeking a Developer, Gas Generation to lead load-enabling gas generation project development for data centers and other large-load customers. You will guide projects from inception through contracting to construction, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include siting, permitting, interconnection, pipeline capacity and molecule supply, budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of gas project development experience.
• Knowledge of gas generation, pipelines, interconnection, permitting, and contracting.
• Experience coordinating with commercial, technical, development, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead gas generation project development through construction support.
• Coordinate pipeline capacity and molecule supply agreements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Support interconnection, permitting, and siting activities.

Education

BA/BS degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field
