Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City seeks a Project Manager to lead Owner's Engineering assignments for gas-fired power generation and related heavy industrial facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum seven years of applicable experience; ten years preferred.
• Experience managing owner's engineering, owner's representative, program management, or comparable client‑facing technical services assignments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage OE projects for gas-fired generation and heavy industrial facilities.
• Lead owner interface and coordinate project teams across disciplines.
• Develop proposals, schedules, staffing plans, assumptions, and commercial inputs; participate in contract development and negotiations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction; monitor and control budgets and schedules.
