Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking a Field Operations Associate to support non-contact customer service orders, line locating, and gas leakage surveys as applicable. You will drive a company vehicle, operate tools, and maintain accurate reports and logs.

Ideal candidates have up to two years of relevant experience, basic math and reading of maps/blueprints, and the ability to communicate in English. The role demands physical mobility, safety awareness, and readiness to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Ability to read and interpret maps, blueprints, and pipe diagrams.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Experience with basic computer usage and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain company vehicle.
• Assist with pipeline locating using conductive, inductive and mark by measurement.
• Complete line locating procedures and maintain compliance with OKIE 811 law.
• Turn gas service off, remove meters, and install electronic reader transmitters (ERTs).
• Complete and update reports including mileage, time sheets, GIS applications, and logs.
