Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a field service-oriented employee to support gas service delivery. The role involves basic work under prescribed procedures, responding to service requests (connections/disconnections), and operating Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment.

You will also assist with safety and emergency responses and maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with OQ and safety training

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license per company standards.
• Must complete Operator Qualifications (OQ) and related safety training.
• Ability to read and interpret basic documentation; data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic work using clearly prescribed procedures.
• Respond to customer service requests including connections and disconnections as qualified.
• Install, program, and operate Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment.
• Assist with safety and emergency response activities.
• Complete and maintain records to meet company and regulatory requirements.
• May read meters and record usage for billing.
• May hold standby duties, work shifts, holidays and occasional extended hours.
• Report safety issues and ensure safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
