Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. seeks a Gas Engine Test Technician to operate test machines and test gas engines, troubleshoot abnormalities, and disassemble/reassemble complex gas engines as part of a robust testing program.

You will use precision measuring devices, ensure calibration, and communicate test results to customers while meeting their testing needs and supporting safety standards across our Pennsylvania locations.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in related discipline.
• Extensive mechanical background (10+ years).
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of common software packages.
• Ability to work with diverse teams of employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate test machines to test gas engines.
• Troubleshoot and provide resolution to abnormalities during the test process.
• Disassemble and reassemble complex gas engines and assemblies.
• Use precision measuring devices to assemble and test final product.
• Explain test results to customers and allow witness testing.
• Ensure all customer requests are met or exceeded for testing purposes.
• Verify equipment calibration and accuracy.
• Follow standard work document instructions.
• Drive root cause corrective action and continuous improvement.
