Olathe Ford Lincoln in Olathe, KS, is seeking an experienced Gas Engine Drivability Technician to join our Central Vehicle Center. You will diagnose and repair complex gasoline engine drivability concerns and work on Ford-specific systems.

Qualifications

• Previous Ford diagnostic and repair experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Ford vehicle systems and drivability diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Ford FDRS and IDS diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of electronics and electrical diagnosis; engine performance; vehicle communication networks; module programming; fuel and ignition systems.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex gasoline engine drivability concerns.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on Ford-specific systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair EVAP systems, ignition systems, fuel delivery, and engine management.
• Program and configure vehicle modules.
• Document diagnostic findings and repairs accurately.
• Collaborate with technicians and service management to resolve vehicle concerns.
