Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school or certification in a related discipline preferred.
• Heavy equipment and industrial machine mechanical experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience in lean manufacturing.
• Experience working in a "team environment".
• Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Requires mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge various procedures and practices to be effective in meeting disassembly production cycle times.
• Performs duties safely.
• Use of various tools provided in the work area to perform disassembly duties to the component level.
• Use of lifting devices and cranes to move components weighing more than 40 Lbs.
• Follows documented procedures in standard work.
• Operates industrial sized pressure washer.
• Disassembles in an organized manner to maintain steady flow of components into the process.
• Identifies and documents component abnormalities during disassembly.
• Uses principles of 5S, continuous improvement, and standard work to eliminate waste.
• Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly.
• Contributing team member
• Effective communication skills.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.
