Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Gas Engine Assembly Technician to join our service team. You will work with the latest tooling to perform engine overhauls for the oil & gas industry at one of our 29 locations, adhering to standard work and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with strong benefits and clear paths for advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience in lean manufacturing.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Requires assembly/mechanical/electronic aptitude with knowledge of assembly practices.
• Uses tools in the work area to perform assembly duties.
• Operates lifting devices and cranes to move components over 50 lbs.
• Follows documented standard work procedures.
• Performs safe, defect-free assembly.
• Applies 5S, continuous improvement and standard work to reduce waste.
• Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly.
• Contributes as a team member with effective communication.

• Use of various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties
• Use of lifting devices and cranes to move components weighing more than 50 lbs
• Follows documented procedures in standard work
• Performs safe and defect free assembly
• Uses principles of 5S, continuous improvement, and standard work to eliminate waste
• Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly
• Contributing team member
• Effective communication skills
