Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent knowledge of English, mathematics, punctuation, grammar and spelling.
• Tech I: no prior work experience required.
• Tech II: minimum 2 years in construction/installation/maintenance; CDL within 90 days; welding certification within 90 days; natural gas distribution preferred.
• Tech III: minimum 4 years in construction/installation/maintenance; CDL within 90 days; welding certification within 90 days; natural gas distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs or replaces steel and plastic pipe.
• Provides First Responder assistance in emergencies.
• Locates gas lines.
• Loads and unloads required equipment, tools, and supplies onto and from truck.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• On-site lead/responsibility for Tech III.
