Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) in the Reading area is seeking a Construction Supervisor for gas distribution projects. You will oversee field operations, coordinate crews, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage costs and schedules to deliver on-time, within-budget results.

You will lead 8–10 crews and 25–35 personnel, maintain documentation of tests and inspections, and foster continuous improvement in construction practices and safety performance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 2–5+ years in gas distribution or utility construction with increasing supervision responsibility
• Experience with field crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites
• Familiar with DOT/PHMSA regulations and gas utility compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise gas distribution construction activities including mainline and service work
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence (DOT/PHMSA, OSHA)
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and field personnel daily
• Monitor costs, productivity, and equipment utilization
• Maintain documentation: as-builts, tests, inspection logs
