Job summary

Calibration Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead development of next-generation gas detection instrumentation, bridging design and execution from concept to manufacturing launch. You will oversee the full product lifecycle in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in engineering with 3+ years managing instrumentation projects, plus experience with sensor tech, ISO-style QMS, and CAD/EDA tools. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS: Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
• 5–7 years in engineering with 3+ years managing instrumentation projects.
• Experience with sensor tech, instrumentation, or rugged electronics.
• Familiar with ISO-style QMS and safety/regulatory testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex instrumentation projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to define specs and analyze costs/margins.
• Drive design, prototyping, testing, and validation of gas detection systems under a QMS.
• Create detailed project schedules, allocate resources, manage risks, and track budgets.
• Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and root-cause analysis.
