Job summary

Linde plc in Austin, TX is seeking a Warehouse Operator to handle gas cylinder flows on 1st shift. You will receive incoming cylinders, prepare outbound shipments, and perform leak checks following ISO 9001:2015 processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory, generating certificates and labels, using computerized systems, and conducting site audits. The role requires independence, reliability, and willingness to cover on-call duties during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years in an industrial environment; gas experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently without direct supervision.
• Available for on-call duties during weekends, after hours and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming gas cylinders and ship outgoing cylinders per orders.
• Perform leak checks and prepare cylinders per ISO 9001/2015 procedures.
• Manage daily inventory of Chemicals of Concern with counts and documentation.
• Generate Certificates of Analysis, bar codes, labels, neck tags and shipping docs.
• Use computerized systems to record deliveries and stage cylinders for shipment.
• Conduct inventory audits at stocking and customer sites as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks including email, databases and handheld devices.
• Maintain housekeeping and janitorial duties in stocking site area.
