Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Newark, NJ seeks a Driver Helper for the 1st shift. You will load and unload gas cylinders onto trucks at customer sites, roll cylinders with manual equipment, and help verify shipments and orders.

You will assist with inventory, perform basic cylinder maintenance, and complete routine daily tasks. A High School Degree or GED is required; on-site role with benefits including health/dental and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks at customer sites
• Rolls cylinders and operates various manual equipment for the movement of cylinders
• Sort empty cylinders by type
• Checks for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and/or assist with inventory on truck
• Reviews customer orders, and verifies/assist loaded items onto the trucks for delivery are current
• Performs basic cylinder maintenance such as painting cylinders, labeling cylinders, and cleaning of work area
• Assists with accompanying paperwork for shipments
• Completes both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments
