Job summary

Basin Energy Group is seeking a Compressor Operator/Facility Operator to operate and maintain natural gas compressor stations and related equipment. This role involves monitoring readings, documenting logs, and coordinating with craft personnel to resolve issues while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include on-call support, routine inspections, and maintaining equipment with emphasis on safety. Competitive benefits and overtime opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Gas or Diesel Mechanics Preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate natural gas compressor stations and related midstream equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and record gas, condensate, and production water/brine amounts.
• Monitor and log temperatures, pressures, and runtimes; report anomalies.
• Inspect, maintain and repair basic field equipment (pipelines, compression, measurement facilities).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT and emissions guidelines.
• Maintain on-call readiness and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain forms, logs and reports (daily logs, shift reports).
