Job summary

Archrock is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and related equipment at customer locations in the Texas area. The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting major overhauls as part of a team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and relevant engine/compressor training with at least 3 years of experience. Local travel and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Gas or diesel engine and compressor school/training preferred.
• Typically at least 3 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
• Performs Major Maintenance, Overhauls, and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
