Job summary

Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I–III in the TX/Delaware region to perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on our natural gas compressor fleet. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, comply with safety policies, and travel to field locations as required.

You will work with manufacturing and field teams to meet customer needs, improve equipment performance, and uphold HSE standards across installations and service cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a shop mechanic or field service technician.
• General mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas industry, including gas compression.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Champion and enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and initiatives.
• Perform skilled tasks including all levels of maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed by supervisory personnel.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of natural gas compressor system failures.
• Optimize compression equipment performance.
• Travel to field locations as required.
