Job summary
USA Compression Partners, LP is looking for a maintenance-focused, full-time hourly technician to service idle natural gas compression equipment across storage yards. You will follow safety policies, perform routine and major maintenance, and reconfigure cylinder arrangements to meet new contracts.

Qualifications
- Technical or trade school certification or related field experience.
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience in natural gas compression.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR history.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
- Must be able to work in the U.S. legally.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow safety and environmental policies.
- Preserve and seal idle units and return to storage yards.
- Roll over idle units on a 180 day rotation and re-preserve.
- Repair packages and make ready for redeployment into active status.
- Perform major and minor maintenance on idle units as needed.
- Reconfigure compressor cylinder arrangements to meet needs.
- Repair and maintain heavy equipment inventory.
- Assist in loading/unloading units at storage yards.
- Safely operate truck-mounted cranes and other lifting equipment.
- Maintain company vehicle per guidelines.
- Keep storage yards stocked with parts and clean.
- Work extended hours as required.
