Job summary
Cherokeetulsa is seeking a qualified engineer to translate customer requirements into practical gas-analytical configurations. You will review RFQs, P&IDs, drawings, and data sheets to develop comprehensive BOMs for Sales and Estimating, coordinating with manufacturers for lead times and pricing.
The role requires 3+ years in natural gas measurement or analytical instrumentation, a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in natural gas measurement or analytical instrumentation.
- Driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Review RFQs, specs, P&IDs, drawings, data sheets, and scope documents.
- Translate customer requirements into system configurations.
- Develop complete quote BOMs for Sales and Estimating.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for technical information, pricing, and lead times.
- Provide technical support during quotation process.
- Document quotation assumptions, exclusions, and customer clarifications.
- Identify missing information, scope gaps, conflicts, and technical risks.
- Develop and maintain standard BOMs, configurations, and application guidelines.
