Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) is seeking a detail-oriented Gas Accountant to join our team to ensure accurate and timely settlement of natural gas transactions, supporting our financial and operational integrity.
You'll collaborate with Commercial, Trading, Scheduling, Risk and Accounting teams, prepare invoices and settlement statements, reconcile cash and volumes, and generate internal and regulatory reports while maintaining strict controls.
Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Gas Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the accurate and timely settlement of natural gas transactions, supporting the financial and operational integrity of our business. You will be responsible for preparing and validating invoices, settlement statements, account reconciliations, and internal and regulatory reports while helping ensure compliance with contractual and reporting requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders, including Commercial, Trading, Scheduling, Risk, and Accounting teams, as well as customers and counterparties. You will investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies and reconcile counterparty invoices, while building a strong understanding of the settlement process and natural gas industry. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to build effective working relationships across the organization.
As a member of the TMV Gas Accounting team, you'll gain valuable insight into the natural gas marketing business while supporting transactions that directly impact the company's commercial operations and financial performance.
