Encore Capital Group in Troy, MI is seeking an Internal Legal Specialist (Garnishments) to support the Legal Operations team. This entry-level role will review garnishment tasks, ensure accounts are properly handled, made payable, and released, while contributing to process improvements and SOPs.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of customer service or clerical experience, strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

• 1–2 years customer service or clerical experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and data entry ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Read, review, and file legal documents including garnishments and turnover orders.
• Maintain organized inventory; clear backlogs and ensure timely updates.
• Collaborate with leadership, paralegals, and attorneys to meet monthly goals.
• Identify issues, aid process improvements, and help write SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
