Job summary

Alliance HCM is hiring a Garnishment Specialist in The Woodlands, TX to manage payroll withholding requirements and ensure accurate processing. You will review court orders and garnishments, determine withholding amounts, and communicate with courts, creditors, and employees to maintain compliance.

The role requires handling federal, state, and local garnishment laws, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory adherence in a payroll service environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience processing wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and bankruptcy notices.
• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local garnishment laws is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll withholding requirements by reviewing court orders, wage garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders, and entering them into payroll systems.
• Determine the correct withholding amounts, prepare notices and response forms, and communicate with courts, creditors, and employees as needed.
• Regularly audit garnishment setups to maintain accurate payroll processing and regulatory compliance.

As our Garnishment Specialist, you will manage payroll withholding requirements by reviewing court orders, wage garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders, and accurately entering them into our payroll systems. You will determine the correct withholding amounts, prepare necessary notices and response forms, and communicate with courts, creditors, and employees as needed. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, regularly auditing garnishment setups to maintain accurate payroll processing. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will help us deliver exceptional service to both clients and employees.
