Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Production Lead to assist in daily store operations and drive production performance in a fast-paced retail setting. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring donations are processed efficiently, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The candidate will help meet production goals, provide positive leadership, and participate in training and scheduling as needed to support store management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in service industry preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Retail training completed or required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet budget while complying with company standards.
• Act as supervisor when assigned by Store Manager or Production Manager.
• Reach production goals (minimum 110 garments per hour with 90% quality).
• Ensure proper production of donations for store floor readiness.
• Model professional behavior for employees and trainees.
• Maintain clean, safe back-room and store environment.
• Observe safety policies and ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Perform duties of Production Associates when needed.
• Attend scheduled shifts as assigned.
