Job summary

The Moret Group in New York seeks a detail-focused Production Coordinator to support garment operations. You will set up style numbers and create purchase orders in the AMT system, and coordinate with design, sales, and traffic to keep production on track.

You will monitor production WIP charts with the production team, liaise with overseas factories to execute orders, and ensure on-time deliveries. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in production/garment industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong emphasis on Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Very detail-oriented, flexible and able to multi-task.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of garment construction, patterns, processes and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up style numbers and create purchase orders in the AMT system.
• Handle daily correspondence with factories; liaise with design, sales, and traffic as needed.
• Work with production team to oversee all time-and-action and production WIP charts; follow up with overseas factories to ensure execution of orders.
• Ensure on-time deliveries of bulk orders; communicate delivery updates to sales.
