Qualifications

• Experience in engineering functions within sewing/apparel production is preferred.
• Knowledge of garment construction across designs (pants, coats, jackets) is preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Develops manufacturing techniques and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead MD area and oversee training, supervision, and operator support.
• Describe and modify product operations; create manufacturing reports and flowcharts.
• Create machine and attachment reports for new products and maintain logs of patterns and templates.
• Direct and support trainers in creating new products, including interpreting purchase descriptions and planning construction.
• Assist trainers, supervisors, and operators with product descriptions and pattern analysis to introduce new styles.
• Support engineering on purchase descriptions, patterns, and existing product construction.
• Maintain sample and template records; review measurements for quality inspectors.
