• Directs engineering activities to cost new products, modify existing cost, improve production techniques, and develop work methods and procedures.
• Confers with management, production and quality staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and management needs for engineering improvements.
• Conducts studies relating to plant production, loading and capacity, equipment, and labor requirements, work layout, and workflows.
