Job summary

Brobston Group seeks a skilled alterations technician to modify garments and support fit adjustments in-store. You will work with various fabrics and garment styles, ensuring construction quality meets standards.

Responsibilities include operating sewing equipment, inspecting finished work, and completing tasks per leader instructions. Reading English and basic arithmetic are required to follow instructions accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment is preferred.
• Experience with a variety of garment styles and fabrics is preferred.
• Ability to read English, understand instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Alter constructed garments to meet or exceed original construction quality standards.
• Perform garment alterations such as adjusting seams, shoulders, sleeves, collars, coats, linings, and pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment, and inspect completed work for quality.
• Complete assigned alteration tasks and follow written and verbal instructions from leaders.
