Brobston Group is seeking an alterations specialist to perform garment alterations and adjustments in store settings. You will support fitters by assessing garment fit, alterability, and construction quality, ensuring high standards are met for every item.

This role requires experience in tailoring or industrial sewing and the ability to read and follow instructions, with basic arithmetic skills to manage measurements and alterations accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in tailoring or industrial sewing, with knowledge of garment styles and fabrics.
• Ability to read English, follow instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments to meet quality standards, including adjusting seams, shoulders, sleeves, coats, linings, and pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and inspect completed work for quality.
• Complete assigned alterations and follow instructions from supervisors and managers.
