Job summary

Lakeside Chautauqua seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds, parks, and flowerbeds in a resort setting. You will be involved in planting, weeding, watering, mulching, pruning, and interacting with Lakeside guests while supporting the grounds team.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and operation of irrigation systems and landscaping equipment. A high school diploma and a valid Ohio driver's license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Grounds is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Lakeside's mission and represent its values on grounds and with guests.
• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and landscaped areas.
• Operate, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems and equipment.
• Safely use hand and power tools and follow safety policies.
