Job summary

Colleague is seeking a Garden & Client Experience Manager in Irving, TX to bridge client needs with garden teams and leadership.

You will manage residential client relationships, assess garden health, and coordinate with crews to ensure timely, high-quality landscape care across the DFW area.

Qualifications

• Degree or formal education in horticulture, landscape management, plant science, agronomy, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, or garden management will be considered.

Job description

We are seeking a Garden & Client Experience Manager to join our growing landscape company in Irving, TX. This is a highly visible role for someone who can successfully bridge the gap between our clients, garden teams, and company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned residential landscape clients.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with homeowners and property representatives.
• Conduct regular property visits and evaluate the health, appearance, and overall condition of gardens and landscapes.
• Work closely with field crews to communicate priorities, standards, and client expectations.
• Identify horticultural issues, maintenance needs, and opportunities to enhance each property.
• Follow up promptly on client requests, concerns, and service issues.
• Take ownership of problems from initial identification through resolution.
• Maintain detailed property notes, service records, schedules, and client preferences.
• Coordinate with operations and field leadership to ensure work is completed correctly and on schedule.
• Communicate recommendations to clients in a clear, professional, and approachable manner.
• Help develop seasonal plans for planting, pruning, irrigation, fertilization, enhancements, and overall garden care.
• Monitor quality control and ensure properties consistently meet company standards.
• Anticipate client needs rather than waiting for issues to arise.
• Learn each property's unique landscape, plant material, history, and maintenance requirements.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in landscape management, horticulture, gardening, landscape maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plants, pruning, irrigation, seasonal care, and general landscape maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with high-end residential clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent follow-through and the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
• Ability to work outdoors and visit residential properties throughout the DFW area.

Education

• Degree or formal education in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Plant Science, Agronomy, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, or garden management will be considered
