Job summary

Moana Nursery is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to craft visual direction across its three retail locations in Reno/Sparks. You will shape standards, seasonal campaigns, signage, and merchandising guides to drive sales and enhance customer experience through live and non-live displays.

You’ll collaborate with Store Managers, Marketing, Buyers/Merchants, and merchandising points to translate product priorities into executable store presentations while maintaining safety, accessibility,

Qualifications

• Strong visual merchandising and retail presentation experience.
• Ability to develop and implement signage coordination and display standards.
• Proven ability to coach store teams and drive GMROI opportunities.
• Experience creating merchandising guides and planograms.
• Excellent collaboration across Marketing, Buyers/Merchants, and Store Managers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage calendars.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Moana Nursery’s safety policies.
• Creates visual merchandising direction and standards for all three retail stores.
• Develops monthly merchandising direction for promotional campaigns.
• Develops seasonal merchandising direction for major changeouts (Spring, Summer, Halloween, Christmas).
• Builds visual merchandising guides and display direction including photos, sketches, and planogram-style layouts when useful.
• Participates in promotions and signage meetings so merchandising direction is planned before launches.
• Works with Marketing to ensure promotions are supported with signage and in-store displays.
• Coaches and supports store merchandising point people and communicates directions to teams.
• Maintains a shared merchandising calendar connecting promotions, changeouts, deadlines, and audits.
