Spikes and Houles in Maple Plain, MN seeks a part-time seasonal team member to care for plants, merchandize displays, and assist customers. This 15 hours/week role requires morning and weekend availability through November, weather permitting.

Responsibilities

• Plant Care & Maintenance: water, deadhead, and nurture greenhouse plants.
• Merchandising: keep Garden Center shed neat and appealing.
• Customer Care: assist shoppers with plant choices and tips.
• Cashiering: provide friendly service at the register.

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who loves plants, enjoys working with people, and is ready to help bring the beauty of the season to life. Location: Maple Plain, MN Seasonal: ASAP through November, weather depending Schedule: 15 hours/week expected. Morning and Weekend availability is required

What You\'ll Do:

• Plant Care & Maintenance: Tend to our beautiful plants by watering, deadheading, and ensuring they thrive in our greenhouse.
• Merchandising: Keep our Garden Center shed fresh and appealing by expertly organizing and displaying our plants, products, and seasonal treasures.
• Customer Care: Share your love for gardening by helping customers pick the perfect plants and offering tips to help their gardens grow.
• Cashiering: Provide excellent service at the register and help customers with their purchases with a smile!

Who You Are:

• A plant enthusiast with a passion for gardening (or eager to learn!)
• Energetic and ready to embrace the busy season with a positive attitude
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in MN weather conditions
• Flexible availability to work weekdays mornings and/or closing shifts and weekends as needed
