Job summary

Vision Ace Hardware is seeking a Garden Associate to assist customers with shopping needs, demonstrate and load merchandise, and help maintain the display gardens. You will support plant care, watering, restocking, and operate small hand tools as needed.

The role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work Saturdays or Sundays to cover weekend shifts. Full-time benefits include a 401(k) with matching, health insurance, health savings account, dental and vision insurance,

Garden Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for assisting customers with all of their shopping needs including assisting customers in the selection, demonstration, preparation, and loading of merchandise
• Assist in daily plant maintenance, watering, and restocking
• Assist with upkeep of the many display gardens on the property
• Operates small hand tools and equipment
• Have ability to lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks
• Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by their manager

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Bending, climbing, and twisting are routine; the position requires the ability to retrieve, stock, and move product
• Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds

We are looking for full flexibility; must be available to work on Saturday OR Sunday, 35-40 hours per week.
