Job summary

LAZ Parking in New Orleans seeks a Garage Supervisor to oversee the facilities of the garage and/or surface lots, ensuring preservation of the location and efficient operations.

You will manage staff, enforce policies, and generate daily revenue and garage data reports for management. A 2-year driver license is required; high school diploma or GED is needed. Training is provided, with uniform and benefits included.

• Strong customer service experience.
• Some lead experience is a plus.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.
• Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
• Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management.
• Assists with periodic training as needed.

A Garage Supervisor will oversee the facilities of the garage and/or surface lots and ensure preservation of the location.

• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
