Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Garage Supervisor to oversee our garage and surface lots, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to policies. You will manage staff, monitor daily revenue reports, and train team members. The role requires a capable communicator with customer-service experience and leadership abilities.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and prior supervisory experience. This position is on-site with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.
• Establish performance standards and implement changes to procedures when needed.
• Run reports on daily revenue, credit card activity, and garage data as requested by management.
• Assist with periodic training and development of staff.
• Greet customers by name, respond promptly to inquiries, and maintain professional rapport.

The Spirit of the Position:

A Garage Supervisor will oversee the facilities of the garage and/or surface lots and ensure preservation of the location.

What will I do?

* Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.

* Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.

* Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management.

Assists with periodic training as needed.

Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the company.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience:

• Supervisor experience is required.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Some lead experience is a plus.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
