Job summary

Pivot Parking, LLC is seeking a Parking Garage Maintenance Porter to help keep Camperdown and River garage clean, safe, and functional. The role focuses on inspections, cleaning, basic repairs, and supporting traffic flow during operations.

Shifts run 6am–2:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, offering hourly compensation of $18.50–$19.00 depending on experience. A strong safety mindset and attention to detail are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Job Description Summary:

The Parking Garage Maintenance Porter is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of parking garage: Camperdown and River garage.

Schedule:

6am -2:30 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Compensation:

$18.50 - 19.00 Hourly - depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections of parking garage structures, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs, such as lighting fixtures, elevators, and gates
• Daily trash collection and disposal both from designated trash cans and bulk items found on daily garage walks
• Clean and maintain parking garage surfaces, including floors, walls, ceilings, and drainage systems, to enhance appearance and prevent deterioration.

Repair And Troubleshooting

• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to parking equipment, such as ticket dispensers, payment kiosks, access gates, and elevator systems.

Safety And Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for parking garage operations, including fire safety, ADA accessibility, and building codes.
• Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and signage, to verify proper functionality and readiness for emergencies.
• Implement corrective measures to address safety hazards and maintain a secure environment for patrons and employees.

Documentation And Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, equipment manuals, and inventory of supplies and spare parts.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports detailing completed tasks, ongoing issues, and recommendations for improvements to parking garage management.

Customer Service

• Interact professionally with patrons and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed regarding parking policies, directions, and facility amenities.
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints related to maintenance issues, addressing concerns promptly and courteously and assist management with traffic flow and lot closures on an as needed basis
