Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing repairs, and maintaining detailed service records while following safety guidelines and local codes. A valid driver's license and ability to work at customer locations are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Garage Door Service or related mechanical trades.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, sensors, remotes, and control systems.
• Perform skilled repairs and routine maintenance on residential garage doors, openers, and associated hardware.
• Communicate repair needs, product options, and service processes to homeowners.
• Maintain detailed records of service and installation activities, including parts used and labor performed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently; keep work area organized.
• Manage inventory of commonly used parts and tools in the company vehicle.
• Respond to on-call service requests on a rotating schedule (if applicable).
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards, manufacturer specs, codes, and safety guidelines.
